I know you're all dying to know how it went so here is a preliminary bulletin.

One couple missed the flight from England and turned up late at night having travelled through Poland on trains, buses and taxis. One of the women was playing on the kids trampoline, cracked her face open and had to go to hospital. Then there was a thunderstorm and the brides parents house was hit by lightning! TV exploded, roof cracked - no one hurt.

So. Great time was had by all. Enough vodka to float a fleet of battleships, and many of us the worse for wear and sharing our individual battle stories this morning. You'll be pleased to know that the GB/Poland vodka race was won by Team GB.

It seems to be the Polish way to overdo everything in case anything should seem not to be enough. We will almost certainly never go to another wedding like this one.
